Canon 80D Advantages:

• Megapixels – 8 more megapixels makes a difference when printing large, but not for mostly viewing your pictures on the monitor

• Sensor Size – APS-C is bigger than MFT which results in slightly better low light performance at high ISO

• AF System – It has 4 less points, but all 45 are cross-type and phase detect, meaning they will focus quicker and more accurately in every situation

• Top LCD Display – You can quickly preview all of your settings, as well as battery life, focusing mode etc. Helps a lot when shooting in manual modes

• Headphone Jack – Great for monitoring audio quality

• Flash Sync Speed – 1/250 vs 1/160

The 80D is bigger since it’s a DSLR, which results in a lot longer battery life, top LCD display, more sophisticated AF system that’ll work better in low light too, and 8 more megapixels. Both cameras are worth the money, but it depends on which advantages you prefer for your style of photography.
