The T5 is definitely a better model, but Canon had 4 years to think of what to include. Quality related, you can expect better results if you often print large, and it also has an advantage in low light situations. They both share the same Digic IV processor, but there’s really no need for a Digic V when the Rebel T5 doesn’t require that much power. The most important changes are a better sensor with more megapixels, Full HD video with manual controls and better low light performance.
